CORTEX™ 9010 Breathable Membrane

CORTEX 9010 is a vapour permeable membrane used on roofs and wall applications to resist the passage of water and dust etc into the fabric of the building. Whilst providing a barrier to the effects of weathering, the membrane also allows harmful vapour to escape which minimises the risk of condensation and mould growth. CORTEX 9010 is highly resistant to UV and can be left exposed for up to 6 months to facilitate the installation schedule on your project.

Application

Please reference the Cortex 9010 Install Guide for a complete installation guide. The Cortex 9010 Breathable membrane is installed using Cortex Sealing Tape and Cortex Double-Sided Tape to create a weather and airtight layer prior to the final roofing finish. The membrane can be used on walls and roofs in accordance with the duty classification. Cortex 9010 satisfies section 3.10 of AS 3959 with a flammability index of less than 5 when tested in accordance with AS 1530.2.
