Coach House Timbers were approached by David Ritherdon of Sunrai Building in the early days of our production of charred products to see if we could provide them with a country style charred timber cladding for a project he was building in Grose Wold.

To achieve this look, we chose to offer our “Marco” profile in our 120cover cladding which has the wider 20mm x 5mm rebate over against the sleeker 5mm x 5mm shadow line of our Sierra profile.

The area also had a BAL29 bushfire rating so we opted to go with Red Ironbark due to it’s BAL29 rating and for it’s unique finish.

The finished result looks amazing with the black cladding contrasting well with the Blackbutt Timber posts and beams.
